The Right Situations

Recently, some of my friends have been super moody and pessimistic about life. They always complain that they don't have boyfriends or no one ever asks them out. I try to comfort them but it's gotten annoying lately. I understand that everyone is different and has their own paths in life but there comes a point in which you have to take control and put yourself into the right situations.

Whenever my friends complain they aren't meeting any guys, I always ask what they are doing to meet them. They usually say they aren't doing anything. I'm never rude to them but I always want to say "well duh, of course your not going to meet anyone if you aren't doing anything about it!" It just bugs me that people except a wonderful guy to fall in their lap while they just sit on their ass. It's like everything else in life, you have to work on it. Just because you don't get hit on or asked out 50 times doesn't mean you can give up. And people need to stop blaming everything on looks. Yes physical attraction is important but what makes someone even more attractive is confidence. You can be the ugliest man on earth but if you are confident (not cocky) in yourself, someone will find you attractive.

Now I know that some people are not able to go to a gay bar or have any gay friends but turning to random online hookups is not going to lead to anything long-term (well besides herpes). Of course I have checked out the online sites but I knew before starting that it was just for fun. People always cry when they don't get responses from guys online. What they don't realize is that those guys are only basing their decisions on what their horny dick wants at that moment, not their personalities, intelligence or humor. They are freaking sex sites for crying out loud! If you want love, don't look there.

I know it's extremely hard to put yourself on the line and ask someone out on a date or tell him that you like him. If you get shot down, so be it, but one of those times, you're going to find exactly what you're looking for. Putting yourself out there helps you grow. For every misstep, learn from it and grow stronger. Love isn't just about sex or being with someone, it's about adventure and growth.

P.S. Everybody has their own opinions on this topic and I'd love to hear what you have to say. Just one note: please don't be rude.

New Years, New Life

I have never been one to make a New Years resolution. I don't wait til Jan 1 to start doing something, I do it right away. This year, however, I am going to make a resolution: don't try so freaking hard. Last semester, I pretty much searched for a boyfriend. I guess I "saw" someone for a few weeks but he was a liar and that hurt. I'm over it now and I'm ready to just enjoy life.

Everyone says that you can never find someone if you are on the prowl so I'm just not going to look anymore. If something stumbles along, that's awesome. If not, there are plenty of other things to focus on. I am going to keep getting good grades (shooting for at least a 3.8 this semester) and I really need an internship over the summer.

I was talking to a friend yesterday and we both decided that we would be each others wingman. I don't really want him to find me random guys at parties or bars but it'll just be nice having that close gay friend that I've been lacking thus far. Needless to say, I'm excited for 2011 and the surprises it will bring.

Fröhliche Weihnachten!

I wanted to be a little more creative than everyone else so I thought that a German "merry christmas" would be nice! Well I hope that everyone had a most joyous day! And to all my non-Christmas peeps, happy random Saturday to you!

My favorite gift today? A snuggie! Woo! I've wanted one for a while and Santa brought me one haha besides that just the usual clothes and money. I'm going to make my video post in my snuggie so you all can see the amazingness.

Snow

Mountains from my house

I know I was supposed to do a video blog this weekend but I got really busy. I promise, though, that it's going to come this week! It's snowing right now, not a ton but still coming down. Home has been pretty chill. I saw Tron and it was A-FREAKING-MAZING!! I highly suggest everyone see it. Especially in 3D and IMAX. I still need to see Black Swan but that will come next week.

Today, I drove about 200 miles going to different elementary schools for my step-dad's company. It was a lot of driving but not that bad. I like driving as long as I have music. This was a quick post but I have to run and get my hair cut then it's off to a friends house.

Home!

Well I'm finally back in Salt Lake. It's absurdly cold and snowy but I'm so glad to be home! My dogs are so fun and my brothers are growing so fast. It's crazy. Being away for months at a time makes me realize time really does fly by. I've had some good questions so I'll make a video this weekend. Send anymore that you want answered.

I'm going to see Tron: Legacy tomorrow and Black Swan soon. I'm really excited to watch movies, read and workout. And sleep of course! I'll have to put up some pictures of the mountains while I'm here. They are really beautiful. I also need to go snowboarding. I only live 15 minutes from the resorts so I have no excuse to not go!

Elf
Christmas Vacation
A Christmas Story
A Charlie Brown Christmas

These are my top 4 Christmas movies. I love them and I'll watch them a few times this week!

Also, random fact of the day: I just watched an Old Navy commercial for scarfs and it had hot shirtless guys dancing. Strange but the dudes were hot! haha

Hollywood and the Gay Scene

This will be a quick post (I have to be awake in 6 hours) but I just got back from a bar in Hollywood. I don't really go out to the big name bars that often, like 3 times, but every time I have it's definitely been interesting. Tonight, was my first time seeing the "gay drug scene." Because I have to get up early tomorrow and work, I didn't really drink that much and to my surprise, nobody else at the bar was drinking that much either, even though there was an open vodka bar. I soon realized, however, that everybody was on some kind of drug. Now I knew before that drugs were very prevalent in the gay scene, I had just never witnessed it before. I promise that I don't judge but I think it's sad when people have to do drugs just to have a good time.

Am I a prude for wanting a guy that doesn't do drugs and isn't a man-whore? That's seeming to be quite a difficult task in the City of Angels.

Procrastination

I really should change my major to Procrastination. I would have a 4.0! I was supposed to write an essay today but I slept in til noon, drove around and ate with my roommate for a solid 1.5 hours and watched football all day.  Now I'm sitting here watching How I Met Your Mother and still haven't started yet haha Good thing it's only 1000 words and not due until Tuesday. Nothing terribly interesting happened this weekend. Most of my friends are still studying for finals so it was pretty chill this week. I've officially run out of food so I've been eating out way too much. Good thing I'll have all of break to get back into shape! I weigh 175 lbs now and I'd like to be up to 184 when school starts again in a month. I figure with holiday food and working out, it's totally possible ha Staying inside and working out will be much better than going outside in the snow and 30 degree weather! It was 85 degrees today so the change will be quite drastic.

The new TRON: Legacy soundtrack by Daft Punk just came out. Obviously this is my music choice for today!

Coolness

If I get a tattoo, it'll be in the same spot
So yesterday I got an email that said this website was putting my blog on their list of Top LGBT Blogs. I thought that was pretty cool. Check it out here Best LGBT Blogs. There are a lot of other great blogs on there so I highly recommend reading some of them.

Anyways, I just got back from the movie The Tempest. It was pretty good but it took me 30 minutes to get adjusted to the Shakespearean language haha Well I need to get ready for the night. Christmas parties and jägerbombs are calling my name!

Study Week

I've spent all day studying so watching the Patriots-Jets game is a nice break. Plus the Pats are by far the best team in the NFL (any my favorite haha) so watching them dominate is always welcome! I just ordered pizza for the game and study time afterwards. I figure I deserve something delicious while I study for countless hours. We are studying female melodrama in my film class this semester so all of my reading is...kinda boring haha Not that I don't like the occasional chick flick, I just don't love reading about it.

I met with one of my best friends yesterday and we had a good dinner. We had been a bit of a fight lately so it was nice to just talk. I really believe that sitting down and talking can really help resolve any issue.

Alright, I need to get back to the Patriots game then study more but have a good monday!

Sunday Funday

Today is going to be crazy busy but I thought I'd post really fast. Every year the student leaders on campus get invited to a holiday dinner our our president's house so I'm going to that, which clearly means lots of delicious food! Then I need to make a white elephant gift. Then we are doing an office tradition called a Fountain Run. We pretty much just drink and run around campus and play in all the fountains haha Then after that, my friends are having a Sunday Funday last party of the semester party. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be exhausted tonight but it'll be worth it. This week has sucked so I need to go out with a bang before studying for finals starts!.

Better Days

As I've said, I've been in a bad mood the past few days but I'm going to change that. I've mentioned before that I'm a total Gleek (Glee + geek haha) so after watching the new episode today and the amazing cover of Dog Days are Over, I'm putting the past behind me and moving on. It's not even worth fretting over something that is out of your control. I'm a true believer that everything happens for a reason so you just have to learn from it and move on. Life is too amazing to be grumpy so I'm just going to pump up the music and have my own little party (not literally, just something I say).

Tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous and I'm spending the whole weekend with my friends. There is nothing to worry about for a few days so I'm going to have a great time and get ready for finals week. Plus Christmas is in 23 days! I won a Chipotle giftcard today from holiday trivia so I'm officially starting my holiday now!

So if you haven't already noticed, I'm very random and find the oddest things funny. My friend showed me this website today and we literally laughed out loud at work today for 45 minutes. If you need a good laugh or simply a study/work break, look at this site and prepare to laugh your ass off!

WTF?

First of all, I hate saying WTF but it's perfect for this situation. What is wrong with people these days? When someone says they like you and they aren't going to see anybody else and then proceeds to hang out with their ex (who he said he can't stand anymore) and other guys, do they not understand it's freaking confusing and rude? I could care less if they were friends but they aren't. I'm all for freedom but if you can't trust someone, is it worth keeping it going? I'm done with classes, only 2 finals, so I'm going to drink with my roommate tonight haha My bad luck has continued since Sunday so it's kinda annoying. Plus Third Eye Blind is playing at my school on Thursday but I can't go! Sorry for the downer.

Bad luck

I'm pretty sure I had the worse luck in the world yesterday, not even kidding. I overslept for church (I go when I'm back home for my mom), couldn't get my homework done because I forgot a camera cord, kinda ruined my shoes in the snow, almost got in a car wreck because my sister is a horrible driver in the snow, my plane was delayed for hours and my car ride home got a flat tire on the freeway. See, horrible luck. But today was much better so all is well!

Thanksgiving was pretty nice. Lots of food, sleep and movies. I pretty much just stayed at home everyday and slept, ate, watched countless hours of football and played with my dogs and brothers. I went to the Utah/BYU football game and literally froze my ass off but Utah won so it was worth it! Now it's the last week of school before finals so I just have to make it through this week and I'll be free. I can't wait for break and school to be over. I want to relax and not worry about anything.

I know the "It gets better" thing was a little while ago, but my school just put out their own version and I found it pretty well done. Check it out here.

Updates

Sorry it's been a few days. This week was busy busy. Not much has happened lately (besides Harry Potter of course!) but lots of school and working. It seems that all my free time is spent with friends. I haven't really just been alone all week so tonight I'm going to just relax and write a paper. Not fun but I'll just put on my music and get a good start on it. I'm writing on the myths and conventions of the horror genre in cinema, pretty interesting.

I officially feel like I'm ten years older than I am. On Friday, after cleaning a fat, slimy turkey, my friend and I went to sleep at 11:30pm, we fell asleep mid kiss haha I guess staying up til 4am watching Harry Potter on Thursday really made us tired. Then on Saturday I woke up at 6am to cook the turkey. As a work staff, we cooked 12 turkeys for over 150 kids and played games with them all afternoon. It was SO much fun! They were absolutely adorable. After that I drank a few beers and watched some football then went to some bars with a different friend. He drank a little too much (and by little I mean quite a lot haha) so I drove him home. As I walked to my apartment, my guy arrived at the same time so we drank a bit then went to my friends place, the infamous HSOOZ. After a few hours of drinking and hanging out, the two of us headed back to my place. Today was by far the roughest day of the week. I had to wake up at 6am for work and worked til 3. I stood outside all day and it was freaking cold! I got complimented on what I was wearing quite a lot though so I was content haha I felt like I was married when I left for work this morning, I was all dressed up in my shirt and tie and I leaned over and kissed my guy and said goodbye. It was very cliche and I had a good laugh as I biked to work but it was actually pretty nice.

Well I should start my research but here are a few songs for my lack of posts this week:

Sex

No this post isn't about my sex life haha but just a question/observation. There is such a stigma surrounding sex that intimidated me, still does, into thinking it was just a quick moment of pleasure. What people don't understand though is it can really draw two people together and make a relationship more than "just sex." What do you guys think? Sex is such a taboo subject but it's so natural so why not talk about it?

Alright I probably should read for school but I'll have a better post tomorrow

Distractions

I have the biggest crush on him

Eric Decker

I have a date tonight and really should clean my apartment but of course I got distracted and started to play Robot Unicorn Attack. It's pretty much the stupidest but most AWESOME game to ever exist. I will get back to my chores once I break 45,000 points. Also, I don't know if anyone else watches Glee on the regular like I do but what the heck was with the asshole jock being gay? I know they wanted to show another side of homophobia, within oneself, but I don't think they did it in a very effective way but that's just my opinion. I did, however, like the new choir guy from the other school. He's super cute!

Emotions

Today was by far one of the most emotional days in a long time. I've been talking to this guy and things are going really well so that has been a nice part of the past few days. Then, I got in a pretty big fight with one of my best friends and we left without finishing (I hate that). And now I just got back from a staff meeting where we essentially spilled our guts about everything that we feel. Needless to say, I'm pretty drained. Good thing I got most of my homework done because I'm about to pass the eff out.

Coming Out

A few weeks a reader asked me to write about coming out and the change from Utah to LA. Since I'm obviously not studying, I'll write about both since they are so closely related. I guess I'll give a brief introduction: when I was in high school, I was determined that I could make myself straight. I'm not going to go into that whole thing, it's deeply personal, but I really thought I could not be gay. I always had liked guys but growing up in a very religious and conservative area drilled the idea of being gay as horrible into my head. Needless to say, I didn't want to disappoint my family and friends. I knew of people who told their bishop, leader of the local branch of the church, they were gay and the bishop made it his personal mission to "cure" the people of their illness. It totally freaked me out so I just kept silent.

When I moved out to LA for college, I realized that there was no changing that I liked guys but I was still determined to like women. I did, and still do, find women attractive I just don't have a sexual attraction to them. Throughout freshman year, I tried to be bi but I never got the same feelings from a girl that I did from a guy. The summer after freshman year, I finally came to realize that I was gay. At that point, I hadn't told anybody. I was still very nervous and afraid of peoples reactions.

The first semester of sophomore year was pretty much the same as freshman year, without the girls, but I was still quiet about being gay to anybody I regularly associated with. I started to hang out with more gay guys but those guys never crossed paths with my close friends. A good majority of my friends are in fraternities and sororities so I wasn't very keen on telling them I was gay because I thought the Greek system was very closed minded. As second semester came around, I was pretty comfortable with who I was. I made up my mind that I would tell at least one of my friends I was gay and so one day in my film production class I texted my friend and told her. It wasn't bad at all and I immediately was relieved of some stress. I then planned on telling all my other friends within the next few weeks. My plans were sort of...quickened soon after I told my first friend. I had been drinking with this guy and we went back to my apartment to drink some more. We ended up making out on my couch for a few hours. I didn't think my roommate was home so I didn't think anything would happen but oh how wrong I was! I was laying on the guy (fully clothed and just talking) and my roommate walked out into the living room and just stared. He was in full shock and I was scared shitless. I couldn't even look at him so I just buried my head into my guys chest. My roommate went back into the bedroom and didn't make a sound the rest of the night. Needless to say, that was very awkward but probably the best thing that could have happened. Within the next week, I came out to all of my friends and I became such a different person. Even people who didn't know me well pointed out how much happier I seemed. It really was amazing.

I guess everything since then has pretty much been the same. I still haven't come out to my family. At this point, I'm not nervous of telling them, there just hasn't been a good time. There always seems to be something going on but I'm going to tell my family over this Winter Break no matter the circumstances.

If I could sum up my whole coming out process, it would be that it took me 20 years to be OK with the fact that I was gay and that I can't always expect people to immediately accept that. So far, I haven't had a single bad reaction when I came out but I know that rocky times are ahead with my extended family and friends back home. I'm prepared though because I am proud and happy to be who I am and if they can't accept that, it's not a bash on me but just their own decision to not accept my lifestyle. I know that every person's own coming out is very different but I hope this was somewhat helpful or insightful.

I would love to hear from all of you about your feelings regarding coming out or just life in general. Feel free to email me, trojanblogger@gmail.com. Also, I know that some people don't trust bloggers being real, but I promise I am! I'll gladly give you the link to my facebook to prove it, just shoot me an email!

Halloween Picture Time

Saturday Night
Sunday Night
On Saturday I was essentially a panda with glasses and Sunday I was more of a nerd. The animal hats are a HUGE thing in California right now so it was perfect timing. And no, those weren't the actual clothes I wore. I just barely took the pictures because I forgot to take pics on the actual nights haha

Total dork

This sums up WeHo Halloween
Yeah I'm totally forgot to take a picture of my halloween costume this weekend haha The hat was quite a success though! Even though I HATE being touched by random people, I got hit on a bunch which was flattering haha Last night I went to the West Hollywood Carnival Parade and oh boy, it was freaking insane. I've never seen so many people and the costumes were absolutely...sexy! The hottest costumes by far were the boy scouts. Now I'm not one to stare but these guys were freaking amazing haha My friend and I just walked up and down the street, the bars were beyond crowded, and people watched. It was an overall good night.

For everyone out there that lives in a very conservative area, I'd highly recommend getting out to LA sometime. Even though the city has its flaws, it's still nice to be able to be yourself without the constant worry of being judged or eve hurt. There is something for everyone to do so even if you're not the party type, I promise you will have fun. It really makes me appreciate who I am because everyone is pretty supportive.

Alright I really need to get some homework done and study somewhat. Here is my song suggestion:

Halloweenie

I just had to make that my title haha I'm so excited that halloween is finally here! This weekend is going to be utterly insane and fun. Saturday is our homecoming game and we are playing Oregon. They are #1 in the nation and I really hope we kick their asses. Then later that night I'm going to HARD Haunted. It's pretty much the dopest thing ever (well dopest thing that night haha) On Sunday, a big group of my friends and I are going to West Hollywood (gayest city in the world haha) for the halloween carnival. Now it's not really a carnival, it's more of a HUGE street party where they shut down the streets and 500,000 people party all night. It shall be quite a good time!

No I'm not dressing up as a cop, I definitely couldn't pull that off, but I'm going as a panda!!! I'll make sure to take a picture and post it on Sunday. I went to a SF Giants baseball game a few weeks ago and got a panda hat so I'll wear that with a black and white shirt. My friend wore my hat to a party and got laid so hopefully I can have somewhat of the same luck haha

Anyways, I think I fractured my leg so I have to pull out of my half-marathon next week. I'm really pissed because I've been training since the beginning of summer. I'll probably just start lifting again since I can't put any pressure on my leg for a while.

Instead of a song choice, everyone should watch Rocky Horror Picture Show. They are attempting to do the largest Time Warp dance in WeHo on Sunday and I had to watch the movie again because it's pretty much awesome. Plus they did it on Glee yesterday and I loooooove that show.

Back

Sorry it's been a week since my last post. My computer screen broke on Monday and I went home to Utah on Wednesday so I haven't been able to even be on the internet all week (thank goodness for iPhones haha) but yeah. Today kinda sucked. I woke up and my Dad's car windown was smashed and my bag was stolen with my passport and social security card in it. (I really liked that bag!) Then my flight got delayed 3 hours and I had to get angry at the Apple guy to fix my computer like he said he would. But now I'm back in LA and ready to have a good week.

Nothing thrilling happened at home besides my Mom's wedding but I was reminded the whole trip how closed minded people are. It kinda made me sad.

OK I'm off to bed now. I'm going to do a better post tomorrow so stay tuned!

Naps

The title says it all: naps. I love naps and I love cuddling even more. We had a football game today and it was incredibly boring so I left at halftime. After a delicious lunch at Chipotle, it was nap time. It was simply fantastic! Seriously, I dare anyone to find something better than curling up with a guy and sleeping for an hour or two.

Anyways, I'm doing the AIDS Walk tomorrow so that'll be pretty cool. I'm doing a photo project where I take pictures of people and crop out their heads because I want to show their personalities through their clothing/body language, not their faces. I think it'll be pretty cool but hopefully people won't think I'm a weirdo at the walk tomorrow! haha

I've got a post suggestion about my coming out story so I'm going to write that soon but I'd love some more suggestions. I write about such random things but I'd really like to hear what you guys would like to read! Also, keep asking questions on my Formspring. I enjoy reading and answering your questions.

Birthdays and such

OK so I'm not doing this to glean praise (not the right word but whatever) but today is my 21st birthday. I'm definitely drinking tonight with friends, $3 margaritas!, and all that other stuff but I realized that I need to make a few changes with myself. Nothing big, just some adjustments so that I can get what I really want out of life.

First, I need to be less shy. I've mentioned it many times before but I'm really freaking shy when it comes to talking to new guys that I think are cute. I usually avoid them so much that they end up thinking I'm really rude, which isn't the case (at least I hope not) So starting today, I'm going to be more confident and go after what I want. Again not to gloat, but I think I'm a pretty good  looking dude that has some good stuff to offer. I just need to put myself out there and get some reactions. I'm a big believer that rejection helps you grow so when I do get shot down, it'll just make me a better person.

Second, I really, really need to not procrastinate so much! I've actually gotten much better this year but I'd still like to get my stuff done at least 2 days before it's due. It's too stressful to worry about getting things done so I'd rather get them done early and enjoy the extra time.

These are pretty much the two things I want to work on for right now. Like I said, it's not much but it's something I can handle and will make an immediate impact on life.

Well I'm off to take a nap then it's margarita time with some friends!

All I Do Is Win by DJ Khaled

This was our theme song for the weekend in San Francisco. We play it at our football games and it's pretty awesome when everybody throws their hands up at the same time. I usually don't like this kind of music but it was an amazing weekend that I want to remember for a long time!

Done

I'm finally done for the week! No more test, class or papers. I'm leaving for San Francisco tomorrow and can't wait! OK well besides this update, I figured I would do a random "get to know me" post, so here it goes...

1. I hate being drunk. I like drinking, I just hate that feeling after you've drank too much and you get the spins. No good. Buzzed is so much better.

2. I am addicted to sour candy. Any kind, anywhere, any time. Love it all and it's definitely bad for my teeth but it's beyond delicious.

3. I'm not a big fan of random hook ups. They're so empty. Knowing the guy is at least 458 times better. Maybe even better than that.

4. Fall is my favorite season. Hands down.

5. I like clean cut guys. Kissing scruff isn't my favorite, although it can be a major turn on with some guys.

6. My favorite thing about a guy: his smile. Take care of your teeth yo!

7. I'm a cheese connoisseur.

8. Margaritas are fantastic!

9. I'm addicted to my phone.

10. I like to cuddle.

Wet

So it rained today, and by rain I mean a heavy sprinkle. Seriously, when it rains here nobody leaves their rooms. Campus was dead today. I actually love fall weather (I love a guy in jeans and a hoodie) but this weather is driving me nuts! It was record temps last monday and now it's 50 degrees cooler and rainy. It makes me want to watch a movie and cuddle haha if only I had a guy and no tests or papers! This weekend can't come soon enough. Back to studying

Sunday Funday

My messy library desk

Sunday at the library, one of my favorite past times. Not! I actually get a lot of work done when I'm here, it's just so sterile and smells of some nasty b.o.! None the less, I'm stuck here all day. I've also determined that before I graduate, I'm going to hook-up (preferably with a boyfriend) in the library haha We have two main libraries at school and one has 9 floors of bookshelves where nobody ever goes. Perfect place! Now all I need is that someone haha Anyways, time to get back to work. Have a good rest of the weekend

Happy Oktober

It's finally freaking October and thus my favorite month of the year. All the news this past week about the gay teen suicides made me really think just how sad our country is. Plus that Michigan attorney general that is stalking the University of Michigan's student gov. president, it's just stupid.

Anyways, this week kinda sucked. Lots of crap but it's the weekend now so it'll be fun. It's parents weekend at school so there are thousands of parents on campus, which is just weird, but it makes me want my mom to visit. I didn't ask her to come down cause her wedding is in two weeks and that's just too much to handle. But ya party tonight and football game tomorrow, tailgating all day of course! I really need to study for a test and write a paper this weekend so maybe I'll get up early tomorrow and go to the library.

Hot, Hot, Hot

Seriously why is it 103 degrees in the fall?!!! Besides the fact that I've had a two day migraine, I've only left my apartment building twice, food and working out. Thank goodness for AC haha but too bad I have to work tomorrow and walk around outside in a button up and tie. Ah crap it's going to be hot. But yeah this weekend was fun. Fratty party at my friends apartment on friday night. Of course this guy I think is way hot and have had a crush on for a year was there but I was too chicken to talk to him, story of my life! My friend offered to "accidently" push me into him so I would be forced to talk to him but I told her hell no! In hind sight, maybe I should have let her to jump start a conversation. Plus he was standing right behind me when I was talking to my friend and we weren't exactly being quite so I'm almost positive he heard us talking haha Besides that, not much. Like I said I've had a massive headache for two days so I was literally in bed all day yesterday. Today I went through mentor training, I'm doing this gay mentor program on campus, so that was interesting. I've never heard of someone being polyamorous (being in love and in relationships with multiple people at once) so I definitely learned some new things. Anyways, I finished my homework early so I might watch a movie and fall asleep early.

Crossfire by Brandon Flowers
Symphonies by Dan Black ft. Kid Cudi

Brandon Flowers is the lead singer for The Killers but I really like his new song, plus he's dang sexy! Symphonies is an odd song, well the music video is, but insanely catchy. Whoop for having it stuck in my head all day! (that was sarcasm if you didn't catch it, very annoying to have the same verse on repeat all day)

Stop the Violence

My new crush haha

No the title of the post isn't about stopping the violence, but it should be stopped, it's about Glee! Loved it this week. I'm glad they started with a bang. Anyways, I think I aced my test I had on tuesday so that was nice. Besides that, nothing has been going on this week. My friends and I are trying to plan our trip to San Francisco in 2 weeks for the Stanford football game and our group is now at 19 people. 19 PEOPLE!! That's a lot of freaking people to plan with. Needless to say it's been stressful but the trip is going to be so amazing it'll all be worth it! That whole week is going to be crazy. I'm going to San Francisco Oct. 8-10, my birthday is that week, I'm flying home to Utah on the 14th and my mom is getting married on the 15th. Lots of fun and lots of traveling. It should be interesting!

Now I usually don't listen to Lady Gaga (unless we're drinking haha) but everybody should watch this clip. The asian girl is crazy good and I just love Sue at the end!

OK I'm off to a meeting. I'll try to write again this weekend.

So close

The weekend is so close I can practically feel it. Tomorrow after 12:30pm I'm busting out of class and enjoying my freedom. I'm going on a date tomorrow so we shall see how that goes, hopefully well! Besides that, not much going on this weekend. I got hurt running on Sunday so I feel really lazy this week since I can't run haha but I can start again on friday. But ya I should probably finish my reading for tomorrow haha I know this was a random post but hey, doesn't matter

New Pics

OK so I promised I would post a picture of my darker hair so here it is! I'm interested to hear if you guys like the darker or blond hair more. Also, yesterday was our first home football game (hence the football jersey on the right haha) against University of Virginia and it reminded me of how much fun it is to tailgate with thousands of people on campus and walk past cops while holding beer! ha

Awkward Dances

Woo it's the weekend! OK well not technically but I'm all done with classes for the week! Last night was a Welcome Back "dance" that the LGBT center put on at campus so a friend (we'll call him Curls) and I went to it just to check it out. We didn't really see any of our friends there when we first got there but we decided to stay and laugh at the freshman haha (yes I know that wasn't nice, but it was fun!) Eventually some of our friends showed up. One of our friends walked to us and started talking. Our friend is also friends with the hottest guy in our grade so I really wanted him to introduce us! ha But anyways, I caught hot guy looking in our direction a few times but he never came over. I kinda wondered why but then I realized that it looked like Curls and I were going out! Crap, when I don't want a date it looks like I have one. Just my luck haha Anyways I had to leave early to finish some homework so nothing happened with hot guy but I'm determined to make it happen soon!

So yeah this week has been pretty uneventful beside that. I'm going to a concert tomorrow night and a football game on Saturday (I bought a new school sweater just for it ha). It shall be exciting.

I really like this playlist so I guess here are like 18 music selections for this post ha

Changes

Tomorrow is the first day of my half-marathon training schedule. My race is on November 7th so I have to get my butt into gear if I want to do well! I've always been fit and workout but I haven't been on an actual training schedule since high school so I'm kinda excited.

In other news, I colored my hair on Friday so now it's dark brown haha Quite the change going from blonde to dark brown, but I really like it and, not to brag, but have gotten nothing but compliments! I just got bored with my blonde locks, plus my newly darkened hair really makes my blue eyes stand out haha I think I'm going to cut my hair this week also so maybe I'll put up a picture after everything is done.

Anyways, I'm off to my friends place because she's making dinner and I'm definitely not one to say no to free, delicious food!

Football is back

So today is the first day of college football and my school is playing later tonight. I absolutely love football. What's more exciting than that big play that gets 90,000 fans jumping and screaming in the stadium?! Nothing, that's the answer haha I usually don't find football players that attractive BUT one of our quarterbacks is in one of my classes and hot damn is he hot! Speaking of hot guys, I don't know about you guys but I have such a random "ideal guy" haha Physically I like dark hair (I have blonde hair so I want someone different ha,) in shape but not necessarily buff but more of a swimmers build and a cute smile! For the personality, it really just depends. I love nerds/dorks because I'm one! As long as he's not a butt hole, makes me laugh and has goals, I'll most likely like everything else about a guy.

Since the new Frat Beats is up and running, that's my song choice for the day! They have lists of music that are pretty accurate of what I like. Perfect for pre-gaming and parties, I promise!

Hot Guys in Class

Ok so I was sitting in my cinema class today and I realized how many hot guys there were in it haha The class has like 300 people in it and at least 60 are super hot. Too bad we watch a movie in the dark half the time so I can't see them! But in all seriousness, there are some fine ass dudes at my school. If you could see my facebook pictures, you'd definitely see what I mean! Ok that just sounded creepy but who cares ha

Photography

Just thought I'd share what I wrote for photography class. Let me know what you think! And yes, it's a bit long lol

Photographs are more than just prints on paper or images on a screen. Each image is a different view of the world see through a small glass lens. A camera, whatever style, size or price, does the same exact thing. It captures a small piece of the world and translates it to film. A simple enough chemical process produces mind-blowing, simple, elegant and not-so-good images. Although technical aspects play a large part in the physical make-up of a photograph, the subject and photographer are what sets it apart from any other style of art.
Unlike paintings, photos capture the world in it’s most raw form. An artist can paint an apple but a photographer can capture every detail of it’s skin, the shadow cast and the depth of field in an instant. The “man behind the camera” controls what the viewer will see. He/She can take an ordinary scene and with the right framing, create a masterpiece, full of action, drama and emotion. Robert Frank’s View from Hotel Window - Butte, Montana is simply a shot out of a hotel window onto a small, desolate mining town. Frank’s framing, however, makes it more than just a photo. It’s a window into someone else, how they feel, how they see things.
A photo is a snapshot of reality. Taken in a moments time, it freezes time, allowing the viewer to see what is really there, what they don’t see everyday. Photography isn’t about being all artsy and finding the coolest scene to capture. It’s about seeing the world for what it really is and noticing what is already in front of us. A true photographer doesn’t need to set the stage for every photo they take. Keeping in mind the subject, frame, exposure and focus, a photographer can create beautiful images while sitting on their couch or walking through a rainforest.

Shopping

Holy crap I just spend a lot of money today! haha Well I was out of groceries and needed new clothes so I'm totally justified in my spending haha I actually don't like spending money but I haven't bought new clothes since March so it was much needed. I really needed to get some shoes but of course I bought everything but shoes ha

Anyways, although I said I was not going to like guys for awhile, I had coffee with this guy yesterday and I had a good time! We are getting dinner tomorrow so that'll be fun. We seem to have similar personalities so that's good. I usually go for guys with different personalities than me but since that hasn't really worked, it's time to change it up! I'll report on the dinner on Monday. Hopefully tomorrow I'll do a beginning of the year "preview" post about what I want to happen this year.

Hump Day!

Well my post title is much more exciting than my actual post! ha But yeah school is going well. I love my photography class! We took pics today and edited them together in photoshop, it was pretty dang cool. Right now I'm only taking 12 units, which isn't a lot, and I'm kinda loving it haha but I'm going to try to take one more class. My mom wouldn't be too happy she's paying $41,000 to have me only take 3 classes haha!

So tonight I went to the LA Philharmonic and Jason Mraz concert. It was freaking fantastic! I really wish I had a date (insert lonely face here) but I had a really great time with a few friends. Next time I'm totally bringing wine and picnic food.

Right now I think I'm going to go on a hiatus from liking guys. I just found out the guy I kinda liked is seeing someone, but he kept flirting with me for the past few weeks. I think it's pretty rude to flirt with someone else while going out with someone. It's really weird to because when we had lunch two weeks ago, he brought the guy he's seeing but ignored him the whole time and flirted hardcore with me...while his guy was there. Strange.

But enough of my rant! Instead of a music suggestion tonight, I'm gonna suggest a movie...

Singin' in the Rain

We watched it in my class yesterday and it was my first time seeing it. It was amazing! Now I don't really like musicals, but I loved this one. Let me know of any other ones I should watch!

School

Back to the grind of school. Tomorrow is officially the first day of my junior year of college. Man I feel freaking old! But in a good way haha Well my first class is a Digital Photography class so it shouldn't be that hard. I'm actually really looking forward to the class.

Ok well this is a short post cause I'm off to bed. Six days of straight partying really poops you out!

Party?

Ok so I was bad at posting this weekend haha but I'm doing it now and that's what counts, right? Anyways, today is move-in day at school and it's freaking crazy busy. I checked in a few hundred people all day (outside in 90 degrees and humid!) and now I should start getting ready for the night. We have two days called "Pre-Rush" at our school and it's essentially a gigantic party on our fraternity row where every house is open and no freshman are allowed! It's pretty much a huge street party with lots of booze, loud music and hella hot guys haha

The guy I like is in a frat so my friends and I are going to stop by there and say hi. Hopefully he's there and I'll get to see him! Anyways, not much has been going on in the past few days. Lots of tequila and margaritas and friends haha School starts on Monday so we have to get all of our partying out this weekend so I can be a good student!

I know I've been slacking major on the music! So here are some pump up songs for going out, USC style...

DJ Got Us Fallin In Love Again by Usher
Dynamite by Taio Cruz
Alejandro (Afrojack Remix) by Lady Gaga
Pursuit of Happiness (Steve Aoki Remix) by Kid Cudi
Warp 1.9 by The Bloody Beetroots

I Like It (Cahill Club Mix) by Enrique Iglesias

Our school is a more techno heavy than most places, but it just makes dancing more fun! Hopefully I'll have some good stories tomorrow haha

Busy, Busy, Busy

Oh man has this past week been busy! Training and staff bonding from 9am-9pm everyday really makes you tired. I work with the best staff, and best looking! haha Last night a few of us went out to Tigerheat which was a blast. Oh I guess I should tell you that Tigerheat is a gay club haha But yeah it was a blast.

Anyways, tonight is the finale of training so we have a banquet which should be good. After that, a few of my friends and I are going to a DJ show in Hollywood woo! haha I'm just excited that I can sleep in tomorrow! OK well it's a short post today but a better one this weekend I promise!

Eating

OK so I should start of by saying that I LOVE to eat! That might even be an understatement. Food is soooo amazing! But I digress, so this week we started training and we get 3 meals a day at our campus cafeteria. I'm not gonna lie, I hate to do dishes (I'm pretty sure everyone hates dishes) so I am so excited to be eating and not doing dishes for 3 weeks! Eating at this place, EVK, brings back so many memories of freshman year. Getting dinner with my floormates, hangover breakfasts and running down to the soda machines to get chasers for a night of drinking! haha It was always a place to people watch (one of my favorite activities!) and we always had great conversations there. It's kinda weird to be back there because I'm freaking old now! haha But it's still awesome. What do you guys remember about your college cafeterias? I'm curious to know!

Anyways, my music choice for the day is...

Lucky by Jason Mraz ft. Colbie Caillat

I'm going to a concert in a few weeks with the LA Philharmonic and Jason Mraz and I'm SUPER stoked so I'll be on a Jason Mraz binge until then haha

Going For It

So I FINALLY asked out the guy I've been wanting to ask out all summer. I guess it took me so long because I don't do failure. I'm not saying that to be cocky, I just know what I want and get it because I do what I need to get it. BUT in the dating world, it's not that easy. You are not in control of the situation, you have another person involved and that makes things 1000x harder but the risks are what makes the outcome that much better, well better if positive! haha We exchanged numbers and I really want to text him, but I'm not really sure what to say. Is a normal "Hey how's is going" ok or is something else better?

Anyways, I woke up at 12:30pm today (which I never do! I'm usually up at 8 exactly everyday) and now I'm doing some pre-training homework. It's a gorgeous day outside so I think I'm going to head outside and work out there!

For the music today, I'm really excited for the new Tron Legacy movie and Daft Punk is scoring the entire movie so I've been on a Daft Punk kick all day. Listen to anything by them. They are energetic and fun! What a perfect way to start the week...

Friday night and Moving

Yes I know it's a Friday night and I am sitting at home packing. So lame but I have to move to my new apartment tomorrow and still haven't started packing haha I'm only moving like 2 minutes down the street so I'm pretty much just putting my crap in boxes and bags and throwing them in the car. Today I had work off so I pretty much was just lazy the whole day. I went to lunch, watched Tron, napped, ate dinner and watched Jersey Shore haha A very productive day.

OK so instead of packing I'm gonna go get frozen yogurt with my friend in little Tokyo haha and probably drinking at a frat house after. Packing fail!

Magazines

Oh boy do I love reading magazines. I mean besides the pictures, I really do like reading what a few publications have to say. GQ and Details are probably my two favorite. They have fantastic ads (yes I know it's nerdy to notice how well done the ads are haha), compelling articles and damn hot models! ha But for reals, I can spend all day reading a magazine cover to cover. I would love to work for one of these magazines one day, hopefully an internship next summer!

I really need a haircut, so when I was reading today, I found one that I like. The cover of GQ May 2010, Jake Gyllenhaal, was the lucky winner haha I always find it so much more helpful to bring a picture of the haircut you want to the barber. That way it's much harder to mess up. I have an interview for an internship in TV production tomorrow so I want to look good! haha

OK well short post today but I need to do laundry now.

Have a good week.

Running

I love running. It clears my head and makes me feel so...happy! haha Did you know that men are more likely to express their emotions while exercising? I see this fact as a perfect date. Why not play a match of tennis and get a quick lunch or a pick-up game of basketball and a picnic! You get your daily workout in while spending time with the guy you like. Best of both worlds really.

I've recently decided that I'm going to ask my friend on a date when we all get back to school. I'm still undecided on what to do though so I'll ask all of you, out in cyber world, what you think: should we 1) go to the John Mayer concert or 2) go to the beach and surf and picnic?

Anyways, I'm off to go running. Enjoy your Wednesday!

Friends

Yesterday I went down to Newport Beach with my friend and her classmates. We had a blast and it was a perfect day. The weather was gorgeous, the surf was good and the food was incredible. But while I was driving back I couldn't help to think, what if I had more gay friends? I mean I'm pretty open with my friends and we are all very, very close but I don't really have any gay friends I can relate to. I don't know why but recently I've been watching Queer as Folk and it's made me realize that pretty much all my friends are straight, well at least my good friends. I have friends that I see at parties and around campus but non that are close and I can just hang out with. Is it possible to have my best straight friends and make new gay friends? Sometimes I have to wonder if the two groups could interact together in the same way that I interact with each separately.

On a side note, I've been having the same type of dream for a few days now. It's weird cause I never remember my dreams but I can remember most of my dreams that have happened the past couple of days. More on that later haha

Bay Area Adventures

So this last weekend was my first trip to San Francisco and Berkeley and it was awesome! Some friends and I took an adventure to visit our friend staying in Berkeley. I had never been to Berk before but it didn't disappoint. The city is my kind of city. It's a college town that actually caters to young people and the general feel of the place is real chill and fun. Now I've never really been a big fan of Los Angeles, but going up to the Bay really made me realize how much I don't like LA haha

SF is simply amazing. The city has it's own flow and life. It really has everything I'd want in a place to live. The city, suburbs, parks, beauty, culture and the ability to escape over the bridge to nature. I've never fell in love with a single place faster. I am definitely going to try to live there after graduation.

Overall the weekend was awesome. Spain won the World Cup and I discovered a new favorite city.

Here are some pics I snapped, check them out. And yes it's just a few of them. After spending 2 hours uploading 350 pictures on facebook I am never putting that many pictures online again haha

San Francisco

It's finally the weekend! Ok well I only worked 3 days this week haha but I'm going to Berkeley and San Francisco this weekend with my friends and I'm super excited! We are making it a road trip and leaving tomorrow morning. It's only a 6 hour drive so it won't be bad. I really wish that my friends and I were 21 so we could go out but oh well just a few more months til my birthday haha

This will be a short post, I still need to pack haha, but I'll make sure to do a good update next week when I get back. I've also been meaning to say that if any of you want to ask me anything just shoot me an email at trojanblogger@gmail.com. I'd love to talk with some of you! Also I just got a twitter but I am still confused by it so just email me and I can give you the link haha

Good 'ol California

So this weekend is the 4th of July and it kinda sucks that I'm not going to be at home for the holiday. I've never been away for the 4th so it'll be weird to not BBQ and swim with all my cousins in the day and go see fireworks with my friends at night. But all is not lost, I'm going hiking and to the beach in Malibu this weekend and maybe to Newport Beach for the 4th with a friend.

This week has been pretty blah haha EDC was so amazing this past weekend! There were 185,000 people at this two-day music festival at our school's football stadium. Like seriously, almost 200,000 freaking people dancing and having the best time of their lives! Look at these videos of my favorite DJs. I know techno/dance music is still a West Coast thing but still check out how freaking huge this event was: MSTRKRFTSwedish House Mafia and Benny Benassi. Keep in mind that the main stage was probably 100 ft. high and for a reference to see how big the stadium is...stadium.

This past weekend was one of the best of my life! My friends and I went crazy and danced for 24 hours. Next weekend I'm going up to San Francisco with my friends to visit another friend from school. We are road tripping it up the coast and I'm so excited! Too bad I won't be 21 to visit the bars haha

It's Gonna Be Me - 'N Sync

This popped up in my iTunes and I forgot how awesome these guys were haha Turn this on this weekend and I guarantee everybody will start breaking out and singing it ha!

Dancing

Last night was the first day of EDC and wow! It was so amazing I can't even explain it. There were probably 70,000-80,000 people dancing and going crazy in the Coliseum and the music was simply incredible! Well this is just a really quick post because day 2 of the festival is upon us and I have to take a nap and get ready for the day!

Hope you have a good weekend,

Nick

Movies

So a quick post before I go to bed. This weekend I saw two movies, Toy Story 3 and 8: The Mormon Proposition. Both were pretty good and I recommend seeing both. Toy Story was so freaking amazing and cute and I loved it, especially the short at the beginning! the Prop 8 was a documentary on how the Mormon church essentially paid for Prop 8 and since I used to be Mormon, I was really drawn into the movie. It was really weird to see and hear all of the places mentioned in the movie and recognize exactly what they were talking about. Ok so before bed, music of the day is...

Recovery by Eminem

It's his new album and it's simply genius. His lyrics are really good and the beats are pretty sick. Give it a listen!

Lakers

OK so the LA Lakers just won the championship last night and this place is freaking insane. Last night fans "celebrated" by lighting cars on fire, walking on the freeway, smashing windows and shooting guns. Yeah I know, LA is really weird. Now I am in no way a Laker fan, my friends call me a hater, but their championship parade is on Monday and they are basically shutting down the entire area around our campus because 2 million people are supposed to watch it! It's going to be pretty cool just to see that kind of event like 20 feet from where I work.

This week was pretty same-old, same-old. On Wednesday a bus full of people went from school to this bar on the beach and just drank and hung out. It was funny cause a baseball team of older guys was there celebrating their season and they were singing the Star Spangled Banner at the top of their lungs haha the bar also had these drinks called Shark Attacks. It's a big tub full of 151, tequila and rum with flavorings. Needless to say, wow it'll kick your ass if you don't share it with 5 friends haha

Tomorrow I'm spending the day out on the town. Probably gonna go surfing in the morning and then spend all day going around the LA, Hollywood, West Hollywood, etc. and eating and taking pictures. I know, what a rough day haha

Because Electric Daisy Carnival is one week away, here are a few songs from DJs I'm looking for to seeing!!!

Ghosts-N-Stuff by Deadmau5
Fire Power by Wolfgang Gartner
I Remember by Deadmau5 and Kaskade
Going Wrong by Armin van Buuren
Whatcha Say by Jason Derulo (Afrojack Remix)

Oh my goodness there are just too many songs to write down! EDC is pretty much the biggest electronic music event in the US. Even people who don't like techno music go to it because it's just a huge party and carnival for 2 days in our massive football stadium!

OK dinner time,

Nick

Pictures

So I was at work today and my boss asked me to go around LA and take pictures of the city for our new office. It was a pretty big compliment that she asked me to do this because our new office is going to be in the brand new campus center and my pictures will be seen by thousands of visitors every year. I'm really excited to go around the city this weekend and take some pics! Other than that work has been pretty boring. I started training for a half-marathon in November and that's going pretty good. It's going to be my birthday present (kinda) because I'll be 21 by then and who doesn't want to go to Vegas! for their birthday/race haha Well I'll keep this short because well there isn't really anything going on right now haha

I love Phoenix so you guys should just listen to all of their stuff haha but this is one of my favorite songs.

LA

So it's Saturday night and it's real chill. Some friends and I are just hanging out in my room listening to music and making fun of our apartment mates cat haha Today was really fun. Some friends and I went to the beach and played football and layer out. The perfect summer day.

Yesterday night there was a party at a frat house that was hella random. Random creepers showed up so we left because we didn't want to be creeped on haha I'm glad I left early though cause I didn't want to see this guy I hooked up with haha but yeah overall this weekend has been a blast. Here is an oldie but goodie:

Yellow by Coldplay

Classic Coldplay song that I happen to be listening to right now. Gotta love it

Have a good Sunday!

Last Day in Utah

Tonight will be a quick post. Today was my last day at home in Salt Lake City for a good couple of months. It was filled with haircuts and a trip to Costco with my two little brothers. Not very exciting but I'm flying back to LA tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited! Three of my best friends are coming down to school this weekend so it'll be fun seeing them and partying it up haha

On a side note, I really hate the NCAA. They totally suck for what they did to USC football. Yes the "trojan" part of the blog is the USC Trojans haha that's where I go to school. Anyways I have to get up early and pack. Give this band a listen, they're pretty darn good.

Horchata by Vampire Weekend.

Funny song that is very, very catchy. I dare you to listen to it without singing it later.

Soccer

So the World Cup starts this weekend and I'm pretty stoked for it! My mom, friend and I are going to a Real Salt Lake game tonight (pro soccer). It's a really nice day outside and tonight will be a blast. In anticipation for a month of soccer and hot soccer players haha I have a few songs that you should listen to as well as my 3 favorite soccer players haha. Enjoy!

Dat New New (VIKING Remix) by Kid Cudi

I really like all of Cudi's stuff and this song has some pretty funky beats. It's not his best lyrical song but it's still good. Whenever I listen to his stuff I'm instantly reminded of freshman year, driving to In-N-Out Burger at midnight and blasting music at dorm parties haha This is an upbeat song that is fun to drink to and watch some soccer.

Piano Man by Ghostland Observatory

Most people haven't heard of these guys but I really like them. They are always on my running playlists and give me a good boost when I get tired. The lyrics are really good and the electronic beats help make it flow well. Sad Sad City is also a legit song, check it out!

3 favorite soccer players:
Wayne Rooney

He is legit. Plus this picture is just so bad ass.

Clemens Fritz

Don't follow him that much but look at that smile haha

Cristiano Ronaldo

Duh! He's one of the best players in the world and freaking gorgeous

Random post, I know, but there's not really anything going on right now, that'll all change this weekend though haha Enjoy the World Cup cause I sure know I will!

Summer...

So far the summer has been pretty good. Nothing really crazy but just real chill. I'm at home in Salt Lake City for the week but I'm flying back to LA on Friday. Home is very relaxing, all I do is hang out with friends, watch movies and go outside. This week should be pretty fun though. Tomorrow my mom and I might go to a Real Soccer game (pro soccer) then just drinking, beach and friends this weekend.

Since I'm new to this whole blog thing, I decided that I'll do a couple of posts today to get a running start. One thing I want to do everyday is post a new song/band that I'm listening to. I love music so it'd be cool to share some of my stuff. Also, I tend to watch tons and tons of movies so if any good ones pop up, I'll be sure to post some good suggestions.

But yeah summer has been pretty relaxing. I work on campus from 8:30-5pm in the week. It's really boring and slow in the summer. I end up getting all my work done early and just surfing the internet the rest of the day. I'm trying to gain some weight right now so everyone in the office makes fun of how much I eat throughout the day, they are just jealous! I discovered the best website for you foodies out there, Food Porn Daily. It makes me salivate just looking at it. After work I work out, which is either running, lifting or swimming, and then dinner. My friend "Gabby" (not her real name, I won't use real names besides mine) comes over pretty much everyday and we cook together and talk. Once she leaves I watch some Netflix or read a book and fall asleep. Like I said, summer is relaxing. Everyday is pretty much the same, but I'm a creature of habit so it's enjoyable.

Weekends involve a combination of drinking, food, frats and friends haha Now I'm not in a fraternity but my friends are living in the houses over the summer so we usually go over there and drink or play volleyball. Two weeks ago we went to a korean bbq place for dinner. It was my first time and it was AMAZING!! Now we're going to go to different ethnic restaurants every week.

On the guy side of things, nothing is going on haha I still haven't decided what I want right now. I like being single but I see my friends in relationships and they really enjoy it. I kinda like this guy on my team (I'm on a club team at school) but don't really know how to do anything about it, I'm kinda shy like that haha He's really good looking and cool so maybe I'll see if he wants to hang out when school starts again.

I know this post was super random haha but I figured to just talk about somethings to start off. So yeah here is my first music post, hope you like it!

Animals by Neon Trees

The song is just summer to me. It's tempo is upbeat and fun. The lyrics are interesting and pertain to me, somewhat. The whole album is actually really awesome. I high recommend listening to it all. Plus they are from Utah woo woo!

Ok well that's all for right now. Have a good day!
